Denver, CO Double Drive Cedar Gate
Pictured is a 10 foot wide double drive gate. We used 6″x6″ posts to ensure the wide gates wont sag. The gate was built on the alley to provide an area in the yard for additional parking. We also repaired 10 posts on this property and renewed the life of the existing fencing. It is important to not use less than 6×6 posts with a gate over 8 feet wide and a minimum of 4×6 posts of gates over 4 feet wide.
A small section with a standard walk gate was installed at the front of the house to take place of the old non-operable gate. The latch set we use on all of our gates can be opened and locked from inside or out for ease of access and security.
The area on the side of the garage was broken down and could not contain the dog. We set two new posts and made a secure section to totally enclose the yard. The homeowners were relieved to be able to let the dog run and not worry about it escaping.
